Bad Bunnies on Good Friday

I'm pattern testing the Stand ya Ground variation of the Splice Skirt at the moment
and decided to use up the last of my Kokka fabric for the exercise
- you know, the fabric I used back here.

I was disappointed that even cutting the fabric on the bias didn't manage to budge the bunnies from their upside-down repose.

It was while ironing the finished skirt
and marveling at how insane this fabric print is
that I literally had a light bulb moment and surprised myself with the thought,
'this could be my Easter Skirt'

I've never owned an Easter themed item of clothing in my life.....that I'm aware of
- it's all about the Bunnies.

So in keeping with the whole caring, sharing & forgiving theme of Easter
I have put my aversion to this fabric to one side
and embraced all it's points of difference & disappointment,
 finding solace in the balance
that Bad Bunnies, in what's turning into a great skirt, on Good Friday is perfect!

Happy Easter

Does anyone else have an Easter themed item of clothing that they wear at Easter.....
or am I the only one?!

Don't forget JaM this week for sharing your Works in Progress.

  1. Love your skirt, even if the bunnies are upside down. You'll probably notice it more than other people and be more conscious of it than they will be. Even if they do notice, think of the talking point it will be.

  2. Perhaps they're upside down so you can see them the right way up while you're wearing the Easter skirt??
