6PR Interview

This is the interview I did with Graham Mabury last week. I tried to answer his questions without too many "Umms & Ahhs" and during the process (not too torturous!) hopefully I've managed to portray the essence of REinventing?!

It does go for a while so I've included a little slide show and would encourage you to make a cuppa before you kick back and hit the play button.

Thrilled!

To be on the front page of the Warcry is an honor and then to have 3 pages dedicated to REinventing & moi is exciting.
Initially it was a little un-nerving having someone ask questions that directly related to REinventing, usually the only questions I get thrown at me are, "which seam do I cut" or "does this suit me"?
The exercise meant I got to speak from the heart and to see how well Faye has portrayed not only my words but the meaning behind them is a credit to her.
Now I have an anxious wait for the 6PR interview to go to air hopefully me orating conveys the REinventing message just as well.

The Warcry will be in every SALVOS Store in the country for the next week if you're interested in reading the article.

Regina is a WINNER!

Reg is also proof that no matter how hard the knock the creative spirit will shine through - giving you wings to occasionally soar above the crap that life can throw your way!

My dear friend has far too much natural talent to let her house burning to the ground stop her from creating her masterpieces.
Hurray for the simple things in life - a pair of trusty pliers & a length of rusty wire!

Funny AND True!

An interesting & humorous insight into the Australian psychy arrived via email this morning, it's quite a long dissertation which I have edited down to a couple of paragraphs however I do encourage anyone with a sense of humour or those thinking of immigrating to read the full version.
The second confusing thing about Australia is the animals. They can be divided into three categories: Poisonous, Odd, and Sheep.
It is true that of the 10 most poisonous arachnids on the planet, Australia has 9 of them. Actually, it would be more accurate to say that of the 9 most poisonous arachnids, Australia has all of them. However there are curiously few snakes, possibly because the spiders have killed them all.
But even the spiders won't go near the sea. Any visitors should be careful to check inside boots (before putting them on), under toilet seats (before sitting down) and generally everywhere else. A stick is very useful for this task.

Term 3 - Bigger & Better!

I've tried to cater for everyone - there's more REinventing & a name change.

'Sew Much More' is new - not really new/new, it's the revised version of Learn to Sew.
As my Learn to Sew students progress, the term 'Learn to Sew' no longer seemed valid and also I have people interested in refreshing their skills and others wanting to tackle more advanced projects.
I will still offer the LTS format to those that want to start from scratch, only under the new title,
Sew much More!
It's going to be a big week!
I do a 'Running Sheet' every week & pin it on the pin-board in the kitchen, this way the family know where I'm likely to be on any given day - most especially they know when they need to keep the toilet clean!

This will do!

There's always a reason for Dan taking interesting posed shots of me - have to tell you later!

Next Terms brochure is with the printer - thank the creative Gods!

It's been a hectic couple-a-few-days of posing, typing, setting up props, tearing down props, all the time making a bloody mess, in between workshops, swimming lessons, cooking, washing, op-shopping, emails and phone calls.

If I wasn't so tired I do cartwheels!
