Just like a lot of you
I'll be making some of my Christmas presents this year
and one or two lucky people will be receiving
Bunting.
Never thought I would but I did
make some the other day
and I'm surprised at how much I like it
it is a fabulous way to add a splash of colour & fun to an area
and a great way to use up odd bits of fabric.

It didn't occur to me to take photos or film the process
which isn't an issue
as thousands of other people have
filmed & photographed the process
Hannah from BrideDeForce has created a great video tute
- her jeans & sewing space alone are worth checking out.

and if you thought you'd like to gift some but don't want to be cutting & sewing this close to Christmas
I'm trying hard to finish some handbags.... new pattern....
ReplyDeleteIt's fuuny - I never made bunting until I had a customer request it!
ReplyDeleteI really love your bunting .... the colour is just beautiful and so bright .... looks gorgeous.
ReplyDeletePretty bunting! I am trying to finish quilts before Christmas, I'm beginning to think that maybe I should have made smaller ones! x
ReplyDeleteOh Bunting puts a bit of fun and color into life ......love the bias binding.
ReplyDeleteGoodness Jody I haven't even started on Xmas projects!! I have looked at other peoples creations, blogs and books but finding the time (no more excuses really)ok this weekend !!! I'm thinking oven mitts with a veggie theme to go with the rope of garlic(yes home grown and plaited by me)and jar of marmalade.
Looks fab Jody. Just that little splash of colour does make all the difference doesn't it?! I'm making my Christmas gefts, yes, but hadn't thought of bunting for anyone......until now! Even though I've made it before, it hadn't occurred to me to make it for a gift. Thanks. ♥
