Day off...

We both needed a day off so we headed down to Cottesloe Beach to see the Sculptures by the Sea exhibition.
It was seriously hot and really crowded.
'Counter' - $22,000

This one got my vote.
'Evidence - the Trail Continues'
made fromplastic milk bottle lids & red plastic ties its can be yours for$10,000.

I made an executive decision and gave Dans absentee vote to this one.
'Renaissance Garden Pleasure Pavillion'
An aussie icon, complete with crow, satellite dish, party lights, radio tuned into the horse races and a bloke complaining he just wants to be left alone! This one could be yours for $22.000

This was one of two I could have lived with,
'Axis'
$30,000

and this being the second - because some kisses will do that to you.
'The Kiss'
$49,000

Stella voted for this huge wooden box covered in painted faces, saying she'd love it as her wardrobe.
'those who were, for those who are and for those who will come'
$12,000

This one was very special, made from marine grade stainless steel and looking like a delicately carved bead. It's one of 6 and costs $66,000.

This was a shame - the 'sky is falling' fell over.
$27,000

Eating yummy fish & chips in the shade with Stella - priceless!
