I swear this wasn't a stunt to make me look more interesting
or a ploy to get my kids to think their mumma's cool [although I think I managed that bit].
I genuinely went to the hairdressers, after 8wks with the saddest head of hair ever, for a colour & cut.
I did say to my very obliging hairdresser,
I wouldn't mind something a little dramatic and did mention the word red
I wasn't however expecting it to be quite so dramatically red...
loving the cut but not so sure about the Ruby.
Sometimes I really like it and then, like now, I really don't like it -
she did say it would eventually fade to pink,
I like that idea best
so maybe I'll wash it 600x and see.
One day it'll be a nice shade of white/grey and then I'll be happy :)
Looks Fabulous, I love it.
ReplyDeleteMust confess I love to going to the hairdressers all that pampering.
I like it! Very funky. And it IS only temporary, that's what I think when I see my son has been at the bleach bottles again. (proper powder and developer). I rue the day I showed them how to do their own streaks lol
ReplyDeleteJody 'Ruby' Pearl - <3 your hair
ReplyDeleteLooking Good!!! and yes cool and funky!
ReplyDeleteLove to have the confidence to try a new 'look'.
Well no one will be able to lose you for a while!!!! No really it does look really nice and even if you don't like it. you know it's not there forever.
ReplyDeleteIt looks awesome Jody, don't wash it out. Sometimes think that I should have more creative hair and clothes so I look more like an artist!
ReplyDeleteI am a blonde and would feel quite insecure with colours but I love it - you can pull this off Jody - just another day of redesigning, this time its you!
ReplyDeleteThe reason you are ,ambivalent/confused, if you like your new do or not is because
ReplyDeleteIT IS NOT RED! IT IS PINK!
Love the cut but I think you would like it more if the colour was more red or auburn.
Of course, I am a white/grey/silver haired lady so what would I know (although I have tried orange unsuccessfully.
