For those that don't know what 'WiSh' stands for,
it's my attempt at an acronym for
Why i Shop Where i Shop
where I share some of my latest Op shop treasure.
Finding this vintage plaster girls head was a pleasant surprise, the price wasn't
and me wanting her as much as I did was a shock!
You know that feeling where if you leave the shop without 'it' you know you'll always regret it...
she was a set of 3 and as much as I didn't like breaking up the set...or the price,
she had to come home with me - I had the perfect spot!
I have no idea what this technique of fabric manipulation is called that's been used on the cushion but I really like it
and it's green!
Old covered coat hangers are brilliant for hanging my cardys and more delicate garments
& vintage fabrics are always welcome

after all...
I love the print of the girl, it's so retro. Lovely.
ReplyDeleteThose are pretty, funky fabrics! Do you find THOSE at the op shops? (I'm DEFINITELY not going to the right op shops if that's the case!)
ReplyDeleteWow - you find the best stuff!!
ReplyDeleteOh those vintage fabrics are gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteVisiting from blogtoberfest.
I think I would have had to have had the plaster girl set, you don't see them too often anymore. I have a few at home
