At great sacrifice to my anonymity & pride I have taken this for Joanie - in the hope that she will finally leave me a comment in the box provided at the bottom of the post!
I love my new do for loads of reasons, mostly though because I can see what I look like with grey hair and now I'm not sure I like it?!
I'll buy some chunky jewellery, maybe start wearing earrings again after 20yrs and already I'm contemplating new designs for the new look.

Someone told me today that I look sophisticated and I thought about bloody time!
great doo!
ReplyDeleteThanks Jen
ReplyDeletegirls with short hair ROCK!
ReplyDeletethose bl**dy greys are easier to find now though : (
Thanks Nadene - I can always count on you country girls for some ego boosting!
ReplyDeleteIt just got too hard and I'm a low maintenance type of gal these days - it's been liberating not having to dye it or blow dry it.
I let my hair go grey, but it's just not me. I use a two step henna, that covers the grey and makes it red again. So, there's always color, if the grey makes you feel tired.
ReplyDeleteI think it looks great! Personally, I earned every one of my greys....first one at age 25! But the biggest boost was when the new, 20-something hairdresser asked me "Who did your foils? They're gorgeous!" and I explained that I haven't done anything other than cut my hair in over 10 years!(perhaps she was just well-practiced at flattery? :) )
ReplyDeleteThanks for the comments.
ReplyDeleteTeri - I think what I like about being grey is going to outweigh what I don't, so me grey is a keeper - for now!
Anon - you're probably someone I've admired from afar.
